my msn messenger is not workin!

i have the old msn which works perfectly, but i recently
installed the new msn 6.2 and everytime i sign up, the
troubleshoot stops me and says that i dont have internet
connectivity, which is not rite because the internet
works fine. ive reinstalled the new msn many times, but
its just not workin. please cud u urgently reply to me
with some sort of solution pleaseee!!!
