My new 1916w is showing a (no signal) sign

How do i get a signal & why would a no signal sign show up on my screen? Any help would be cool. Thanks for your time

Could be a number of reasons. Are you using DVI or analog? Does your video card have multiple DVI? Please let us know.

I have dvi but my friend has both dvi & analog. It still reads (no signal)

Should i just get a new video card with analog?

my video card is geforce fx5200 256mb ddr/tv/dvi agp 8x
my motherboard is asus p4s8x
only excepts pci & agp

Any suggestions would make me very happy!!!
