My resolution was fine with my Windows 10 computer and my somewhat older monitor (not the typical widescreen its a little bit more square ish) until my vga cable broke, it blinked when I moved it in certain directions and made the colours all weird sometimes so I had to buy a new one. I connected it to the computer and the old acer screen (with only one vga output btw) and the screen looks a little bit weird, it’s not that noticeable but everything is a little bit stretched out, not much so doing some things on the computer is totally fine but watching videos or photos of people or anything like that make them look really wide which I don’t prefer. I have clicked all the possible options in the drop down menu for resolution in settings but none of them fit, in fact the one I have now (1600x1200) is the best one but as I said a little too wide. How can I solve this?
