Hello,
While playing games like Dota 2 and Gta 5 (Nowadays I only play Gta5 and dota 2) , my pc just bricks.
i dont get and blue or black screen, the pc stucks just like that with the game on monitor.
nothing works, and i have to turn the power off and turn on.
I also tried verifying the game files in steam.

it has been happening since 1 week. all my gpu and cpu temps are fine( cpu within 50s, gpu within 70s and touching 80)
I cleaned the ram slot and re installed my ram 2 days ago, and the previous 2 days were fine but today it started crashing again.

my pc is around 6 years old ( fx 8320 and r9 290 gpu) and i use windows 10.
Is there some option in windows to see what happened at instance when my pc crashed.
please suggest what else might be the reason of the crash and solution to it

I really appreciate your help
Thank you.

Thank you for your reply
My pc specs
CPU - Fx 8320 AMD
GPU - Sapphire Amd R9 290
Ram - corsair 16gb (2x8 ddr3 1600Mhz)
PSU - Seasonic M12II-750 Bronze ATX 750W Modular Power Supply
Motherboard - Gigabyte AM3+ 970 UD3P
Storage - 1 tb hdd
I am attaching link of pics of the ram and psu

I would like to mention that 1 month ago i bought SSD and installed windows again on it. And before SSD i didnt experience this problem. Just saying this , thinking it might be helpful

Does your ssd sound as if it making any kind of noise , watch the light on the front of your pc so you know when the ssd is doing something.
If you can hear anything then the drive is faulty because ssd's dont have any moving parts so should be silent

Check reliability monitor to see if any crash reports are their and google the error report codes

I suppose it could be a faulty SSD.....but many times with symptoms like this it's the PSU. Your PSU is a good one though and has plenty of wattage....however it is 6 years old.
If you run HWInfo...it should display the three main PSU voltages. +12, +5 and + 3.3.
I would run it and minimize it.
Then I would do some tasks on the PC if you can without it crashing.
Then look at the high and low voltage ranges for those three voltages.
They shouldn't go above or below 5% of those values.
If they do....then new power supply.
If they don't.....another thing to try is.....you can setup HWinfo to log to a file.
I would set it up to log to a file.
Then I would run it till it crashes.
Then I would look at the voltages in the file right before it crashes.
If they are outside the 5%....then new power supply.

I just checked now, i dont hear any noise from my ssd, i didnt even feel any vibrations from the ssd when i touched it.

I only have one light blinking on the front of my pc, beside the headphone jack. the symbol on that light is like a battery ( https://ibb.co/vs7yPfk)
my pc case is corsair spec 03.
and next time if my pc bricks I will check on that blinking light on the front of my pc.

Thank you Jay for replying.

Hey Jay,
i ran the cinebench and it was fine,
next i ran unigine and after 2 to 3 mins , pc turned off

next i ran cinebench and unigine at the same time and instantly pc crashed.

so I think the psu is the problem,
what are your suggestions
