Hi I need some help with my Pc

My computer takes a very long time to boot into desktop, I checked almost everything like changing CPU fan and heatsink , thermal paste , 2GB DDR3 extra Ram (1333mhz),removed unwanted apps and even did a HDD defrag test

My PC specs:

Intel i3-4160 3.60GHZ Dual Core Haswell
6GB DDR3 (4GB and 2 GB dual channel) 1333mhz
Nvidia GeForce GT 710 2GB (latest driver) 2019
Toshiba HDD (500 GB ) 70% Full 7200RPM
Western Digital HDD (160 GB) 60% Full 7200RPM

( I installed windows on Western Digital HDD)

Please help ASAP

You are booting from a 160GB spinning disk. Windows will always take a long time to boot from a hard drive, but you are using a very old designed one so it will be even slower. Not to mention the fuller a HDD gets the slower it is by a large amount. You would be best off getting a 240GB SSD and cloning your C: drive to it and then using that to boot from.

Thanks for replying so fast

I only have problems during system boot up

Almost all games and apps runs fine

I have a 1 TB HDD from Toshiba in my Gaming laptop

Are there any cheap SSD with a capacity of around 160 GB ?

Games are still designed to run from HDDs. The issue is as games get larger the loading times increase. SSDs help reduce loading times in games as well as keep your frame rates more consistent. What country are you in and what would your budget be in that currency for a SSD?

I'm from India and my budget is around 450-500 dollars USD

I have an another computer which is running on HDD but it boots up much faster than my current pc

And also there is only 24 GB of free space on that while my current pc has 65GB

Thnx bro for helping

I'm almost done with windows 10 , planning to move to Linux

Need to buy a better PC from Amazon but the there is a big problem

If an item is 500$ then it will 3x more in
India

Anyway thanks bro
