Hey guys, i recently bought a new cooler (Corsair H100i RGB) and after installing it, my pc didn't boot (DRAM Led turned on). So I reseted the CMOS and seemed like it worked well, but then the next day when i turned on my pc again the DRAM led came back (again) and this time didn't work the reset of the CMOS.

So im wondering what's the real problem? Since my pc was working just fine before the installation of the my new AIO.

(As note, a few weeks ago i updated my BIOS and changed my CPU to a Ryzen 7 5700x and my pc gave me similar problem but in that case the GPU Led was on. I managed to fix it by replacing the HDMI'S)

PC Specs:

- Ryzen 7 5700x
- Asus TUF x570 Gaming Plus
-Corsair H100i RGB
- 16 Gb Corsair Vengance 8x2
- MSI RX 580 Gaming X
-240GB SSD WD (OS)
- 8 TB Seagate
- 1 500GB Toshiba
- 500w Corsair RM Bronze

This:

"500w Corsair RM Bronze"

As I understand your post my first suspect is the PSU.

How oldl? Original to build, new, refurbished, used?

History of heavy use for gaming, video editing, or even bit-mining?

if possible, swap in a known working PSU with a higher wattage and greater efficiency.

FYI - just to consider and read:

My psu is the oldest component that my rig has by far, around 6 years old. I bought it brand new back then. And i mostly used my pc for gaming (games like rdr2, halo mcc, arma 3, gta v, all souls saga games) and photo editing.

All that, in my mind, makes the PSU even more suspect.

Very likely the PSU is nearing or even at its' designed in EOL (End of Life).

Possible that the new cooler pushed the PSU to EOL.

You can try testing the PSU if you have a multi-meter and know how to use it. Or know someone who does.

Not a full test because the PSU is not underload.

Any voltages out of tolerance would make the PSU the culprit.
