Hi all!!
I am a newbee and a first comer therefore excuse my short comings.

I use a Fuzitsu Siemens L9ZA monitor display with d-sub VGA input only.
My Grphic card is a GPU NVidia GTX260 customized at 1280x1024 pixels resolution and 70 Hertz refresh rate.
Sometimes when I try to videochat on Skype it shuts down my WXP desktop.
Also with itunes 11.1 version when I try to play a Movie Trailer from Apples store
it drops and shuts down my system and I have to restart all the time..
However I vave no problem to open and watch you tube video clips
as well as Nvisia Gamers trailers for hours.
A few weeks ago I had changed my Power Supply at a repair shop and ever since I face
these shortcomings.
I dont think it is from over heating because Speed fan Reedings on idle
show the GPU at 44C and CPU at 36C.
Please let my know if I can work around this issue ??? :(
Thanks a lot.
andre

hey
I think that is a Software Problem
your Itunes is this problem on my opinion

look try to open the task manger on the performence and see the cpu
and then turn your I tunes on
If the CPU turn to 100% fastly then the problem is the I-Tunes

If not I don't know
best regard

Hi Mohamed!!
The Cpu turned to 75% for a sec then dropped to between 30 - 40 % and when I played a song dropped to 1-4 % .
So I dont think the problem lies with the i-Tunes.
Thank you anyway...
Regards

Hi again!!
I tried to monitor the CPU usage performance again while playing an iTunes movie trailer and the system shut down in a few seconds after blowing the CPU usage to 100% a few times.
But besides that today for the first time the system shutdown even with only the i-tunes application running on the background. :??:

Hi ex_bubblehea,
I reckon you are right in as much as the WXP OS is concerned, because the same i-tunes 11.1 version
works unfailingly on my W7 OS of my laptop.
Mind you that the previous version of Itunes 10.7 was also working fine on my WXP desktop.
Of course now Apple forces you to install some other applications like Quicktime Bonjour and Mobileme.
Personally I am using i-Tunes mainly for my Music library as Media Player but there also I cannot
turn on the visualizer which shut downs the system as well.
Thanks a lot anyhow.
