Hey,
I'm experiencing something weird—my PC suddenly has a performance drop.

Here's the detail:
Yesterday, I played NFS Heat with around 80+ FPS. Then I used it for video editing, and after that, I went back to gaming, but my FPS dropped significantly—I only got around 40 FPS. Even after setting the graphics to low, the FPS stayed the same, and it's happening with other games too.

This is the first time I've experienced this issue after using my PC for two years.

Any idea what’s going on?

Here's my rig :

i5 11400f
RTX 4060ti
32GB Ram
650 Watt PSU

Thanks!

650 Watt PSU
650W is the advertised wattage of the unit. What is the make and model of the unit? As for the unit's age, is it 2 years?

Try and run DDU in Safe Mode, to remove all GPU drivers(intel, AMD and Nvidia) then manually install the latest GPU driver sourced from Nvidia's support site in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

You forgot to mention the make and model of your motherboard. Include the BIOS version as well.

32GB Ram
Can you elaborate on this?

Can you elaborate on this?
PSU : NZXT C650 and yes, it;s 2 years old
Motherboard : MSI H510M-A Pro
RAM : Corsair VENGEANCE LPX 32GB 2X16GB DDR4 CMK32GX4M2E3200C16W
BIOS VERSION : 3.70

I've already done a clean install of the GPU driver using DDU multiple times, but the result is still the same. Is there a chance that I should try installing an older driver instead?
