Question My PC won't boot or post

I'm not sure why this is happening. The day before it was working fine, then I shut it down and went to sleep. The next day I tried to turn it on, but it doesn't boot or post. The red light on my motherboard turns on for a very brief split second then then off, and that doesn't happen everytime. I have a z270 Gaming Plus MSI motherboard, an i7-7700k CPU, a GTX 1070 Ti, 32 GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 750W EVGA that now by the looks of it does not have an 80 Plus rating. Any help would be appreciated, as I am a (relatively) new PC owner, and issues like this throw me off. Thank you.

Try clearing the CMOS (unplug the power cord and remove the CMOS battery for a minute).
