I was juts streaming netflix (v. low load) the other night and there was a audible bang from my computer and the whole thing shut down and, you guessed it, it wont turn back on.
I've checked fuses in the plugs (UK plugs) and looked at all the capacitors i can see, doesnt seem to be anything wrong. Wierdest thing is, all of the LEDs inside the computer turn on when the power is connected, but when i press the power button there is a clicking noise from the power supply and nothing happens. No bios coming up or hardrive noise at all. There is even a power button on the motherboard whih i have tried thinking the power button on the pc might be dead but same thing.
I don't know if this is a PSU issue (but then id think the LEDs woulnt be on) or a motherboard issue or something else which is completely stopping the PC from starting up.
Any ideas?
