[SOLVED] My ps3 controller wont work without a wire on pc

Hey guys my friend gave me a used ps3 controller so i can play games on my pc from bed but its only connected to my bluetooth when the controller is conected to the pc via cable.
I used scp toolkit and i thought it was gonna work but it didnt
Any help will be appreciated

Ds3 are Bluetooth, but not well supported in Windows. A Ds4, and DS4 Windows (360 controller emulator) to play most games is recommended. Newer games will support the DS4 without ds4 Windows, but most older games only support Xbox controllers. If a ds4 isn't an option, I've gotten a ds3 working in Windows before but it's a bit fiddly. Try this guide :

Agreed. A ps4 controller is more likely to work on games than the ps3 one. If you've got any money to spend, xbox 360 controllers can be bought for very cheap in most places and even where i live a new 3rd party controller is just €15. Hope this helps and good luck with your gaming
