Need advice please

Currently in the process on building my first system and was wandering if you are allowed to run the cables from the case under the mobo??

So i dont have wires and cables every where?

I have done it and taped it down so the cables aint loose?

Just havent powered on yet

Far be it for me to question the statement of our respected and hallowed Macedonian guru, who I am convinced has the blood of Alexander coursing through his veins, 8) I would think that if you're running ribbon cables under the board, you might block some airflow. The underside of the CPU, Northbridge, etc. get pretty toasty and you want to make sure that there is plenty of room for convection.
