[SOLVED] Need another 19" monitor but with HDMI output

I recently obtained a laptop but it only has hdmi for output and I need to replace current 19" monitor (which does not have this type of output, only svga) to connect to laptop.

Probably be easier if you looked for a display that had either HDMI or DVI inputs. It's easy enough to adapt HDMI to DVI (both digital signals). Also, while I don't recommend them, there are some active HDMI to VGA converters that others might suggest.
