My Issue:
Im trying to figure out how to control my case fan RGBs... instructions say that the reset button cycles colors and powers it off but it actaully just resets the PC.

I uninstalled MSI Center as i was having issues (kept giving me a buffer circle icon every 5 seconds and made the cpu spike) so i got argus monitor instead as well as openRGB, and msi afterburner...

OpenRGB is working for my keyboard, and it worked briefly on my ram, although its hit or miss and made the rgb tweak out on the tforce ram sticks so i reset it and now they are back to normal and cylcing through colors

i jsut wanna be able to control my rgb and be able to shut them off

Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

I would advise on making sure you're on the latest BIOS version for your motherboard, then manually install the latest version of MSI's center app, then install Mystic Light to manage your RGB's. I've had to uninstall the app twice since my foray with MSI's B650i motherboard. It's annoying but after you uninstall it, reboot, then manually install the latest version, you should be fine.

To add, if you don't want any lights on it, then disconnect the RGB/ARGB lighting connector for the fans.

Moved thread from Components section to Cooling section.

I’m hoping with mystic I can control them all around and even shut them off maybe. If that doesn’t work someone told me to try signalRGB.

How do i make sure I’m on the latest bios version?

EDIT: so use revo to uninstall open rgb, do i need argus monitor? can u reccomend better CPU GPU monitoring software. DO i need MSI aferburner?

You can use CPU-Z to tell you what BIOS version you're on for your motherboard. It'll be stated under the mainboard tab. For the time being just focus on getting Mystic Light. I've been steering clear of SignalRGB since they've been hit or miss, also being a culprit of downloading and installing the wrong firmware for the platform you might be working with.

Type Control Panel in Start>hit enter>Uninstall a Program(listed underneath Programs)>remove the app you're trying to remove. Reboot the system.
