Hi there
i have to build a new PC from zero ...for some Gaming, GNS3 ( network devices emulation/simulation), VMware Workstation, Video Editing etc.
i have some ideas about what i need ... but since i haven't spent much time till now looking at reviews and opinions about new products it is difficult to form an opinion on my own so i need some help if possible
the prices may seem a bit high if u check them on NewEgg for example but i am in europe and the prices here are like that ...
Overclock:Yes ...just not now
MB: ASUS maximus IV extreme-z $367
CPU: i7-2600k $342.37
PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower Grand 750W 80 plus Gold $169.88 (i have searched a lot so i think this one is nice )
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws F3-12800CL6D-4GBXH x2 to make it 8GB ( DDR3 1600 4GB 2x2GB Cas6 1.5v ) $84.44 x2 ( $168.88 )
OR... something like it... kit DDR3 1600 8GB ( for the moment 8GB i think is enough ) Low CAS.. 1.5v reliable brand... ( about the memory i have found info somewhere probably on this forum that for sandy bridge the memory should be 1333/1600 and 1.5v )
GPU: ASUS ENGTX570/2DIS ( GeForce GTX 570 GDDR5 1280MB ) $383.74 (SLI... probably not )
SSD: Corsair Force GT 120Gb SATA 3 ( 6Gb/s ) ( CSSD-F120GBGT-BK ) $252.59 ( too much ? )
HDD: WD Caviar Black 1TB 64MB ( WD1002FAEX ) $89.45
Monitor: Samsung Syncamster 24" ( S24A300B ) $204.13 ( hope its good ...i like samsung )
DVD: Plextor ... found one can't remember the model and price .. lets say $50
Case:no idea ... but Cooler Master HaF x looks nice and a lot of ppl are using that one so....$246.60
or Thermaltake Chaser MK-I VN300M1W2N ...
