Hello, I am building a pc for productivity as I’m working from home and I spend an average of 10 hours per day in front of my laptop.

I am working as a marketing associate and my priority task is web browsing and research, also some light Photoshop work.

I would like your help in choosing a monitor that has really good colors, and it’s comfortable for my eyes.

I’m thinking of choosing a 24’’ inch monitor at 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 pixels and maybe in the future going for a second monitor.

I have the feeling that if I go for a 24’’ inch monitor and 2k or 4k resolution the text will appear too small.

I found some monitors.

The prices are in euro and according to my country’s stores.

Please let me know your opinion on my choices or suggest any other options on this price range that I might not have come across

Solution
24" 1080p is reasonable at standard viewing distances. 27" 1080p is a bad idea as you said, particularly for reading, very pixelated text.

Your more expensive U2419H has a video output, which you can use to daisy chain monitors. Not worth the $50 if you aren't using it. On your other post I suggested a low end discrete GPU, but with Intel the daisy chaining might be preferable if you want more than two monitors.

Middle ground P2419H monitor has a USB hub built in which can reduce desk clutter if you make use of it.

The cheap 24" is a basic office monitor but still IPS. Might be fine if you just want an IPS display.

Good remarks.

I spoke to a Dell dealer and they told me that the S2421HS Monitor can play at 75 MHz, making it more comfortable for my eyes.

I think a change from a 15.6’ laptop to a 23.8’ monitor will be a big change from itself.
In the future, yes I’m planning for a second monitor.
