[SOLVED] need help asap with gpu

recently upgrading my rx460 4gb to a msi rx580 8gb gpu. Im playing farming simulator 19 as my main game and seeing im dropping fps to 40 or 50 from 60 a good few times. I run the game on high. My friend thst plays the game has a 750ti 3gb gpu and runs the game and max settings and get 60fps. What is my issue. thanks guys. BTW my gpu is running at 40 to 50 degress Celsius

Could be a driver issue. It is common when upgrading to a new GPU because legacy driver data is still in the system registries. Use the ddu tool below in safe mode to do a clean unistall of the 460 drivers. Then download the current drivers from AMD.

Okay doing the reinstall now. How do i know i have installed the drivers correctly?

also how big is a gpu driver. this is the driver Im installing as seen downloading on chrome.

I am not sure about the driver size. Although that looks like it is from MSI and not AMD. Could be a linked through MSI. I suggest downloading the AMD auto detect tool and update the drivers through AMD Adrenaline. It is very straight forward and all you should need to do is follow the instructions on screen.

did it still no luck. it think its my vs550 psu is not powerful enough

The VS is not a great PSU, but it should push that system.
