hello everyone,
I’m looking to build my first pc and need help choosing a Psu for my low end budget build. Any other advice is also appreciated.
Prospective build list:
Cpu: Ryzen 5 5600g
Motherboard: gigabyte b550 ud ac
Ram: 16gb t force Vulcan z 3200mhz
Gpu: to be determined
Case: gamdias Atx mid tower

For the Psu I’m torn between the thermaltake thoughpower gx2 600w 80+ gold or the Evga 750w BP 80+ bronze. Both are around the same price right now and both seem to be C tier the only reason I’m leaning toward the 750w is for the headroom I plan on putting a Rtx 4060 or 4060ti or rx6700 at most even though the Ryzen 5 5600g is going to bottleneck the gpu. Also considered segotep gn650w 80+ gold and the Corsair cx650 80+ bronze. Just want some thoughts here. Thanks for reading

Do not try to go cheap on the psu.
Buy a unit with at least a 7-10 year warranty.
The price jump from 750w to 850w Is not usually great. For example Seasonic focus GX 750 with a 10 year warranty is is $90 https://www.newegg.com/seasonic-foc...17-151-263&cm_sp=product-_-from-price-options
The 850w version is only $20 more.
Or, the corsair Rm 750e with a 7 year warranty is $99
https://www.newegg.com/corsair-rm75...17-139-307&cm_sp=product-_-from-price-options
The 850w unit is $20 more.
The corsair rm units do not appear to be atx3,0 compatible.

May consider that seasonic but it’s a little more than I’m looking to spend I’m looking to shop through Amazon if possible

The only disadvantage to buying an extra strong psu is the incremental price.
The psu will draw only the power demanded of it, regardless of the max capability.
And the psu will operate more quietly and efficiently operating in the middle of it's range.
Keep the extra cables in case you eventually want to upgrade your graphics card.

heres a build list if you have windows 11 then you can take that out.

i built you can go with 16gb but if your going to use integrated graphics thats 16gb is going to also be hogged up by windows taking at least 4gb of that memory.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GpNth3

i went with rx 6800 its way more powerful then the 4060 and not as expensive at the 4060 ti

offers double the video memory.
