I'm from India and thinking about buying a laptop, I've shortlisted two laptops, the OMEN by HP 15-dc1093tx and the HP Gaming Pavilion - 15-dk0050tx.

They have almost the same specs, the pavilion costs about 3000Rs(about 45$) more but the pavilion has a 144hz display, whereas the Omen has a 60 Hz panel. But on the other hand, according to reviewers, the Omen has better thermals, and a customizable rgb 26 key rollover keyboard, I'm confused and any help would be appreciated.

Here are the official website links

Honestly in the end, these compare very closely. The higher HZ practically adds the 45 dollars.

If what reviews said is true, then go for better thermals, if not and want to hope, try the Pavilion. In the end, it's your choice.

Although the hp pavilion has 144 Hz, i think HP Omen 15 should be the better choice. It comes from a true gaming series and must be better, even if they have the same hardware. The description clearly says: RGB, Bang and olufsen speakers, and Anti-ghosting key technology.

The hp pavilion 15 has an accelerometer which may or may not be useful, but if you're into fps gaming, this is what you would want.

Definition: An accelerometer is a sensor which measures the tilting motion and orientation of a mobile phone. The Apple iPhone was the first popular mobile phone to make the accelerometer a key feature of its user interface.

What are the games that you wanna play?
Check if the 1650 can push over 100 fps for those games cause otherwise getting that 144Hz would be useless but if I were you I'd go for better thermals.
