Need help.i3 4160+MSI H97M-E35 is ok?

I wanna buy an i3 4160 and i wanna know if is good with my msi h97m,i also have 4 gb ddr3 and hd7750 but a no brand source,should i get a new source if i get this i3?Msi h97m support only new generation procesors no?Can you guys give me some advice please 😀

sorry im not that good at this, is MSI H97M e35, source is powerlink max 500 watts,that is write on the source.

The i3 4160 is not listed as being compatible. But the 4130 is.

You have a poor quality PSU (source) but an i3 should still work OK with it. Maybe try an i3 4130.
