I'm building my very first desktop ever. I need to build a desktop that will be used for checking emails, having video conversations on skype and other IM programs, word processing and watching movies. I want to spend no more than $450 on this PC. I already decided on this CPU:

I researched this CPU and I know that it's what I want. I do not plan to overclock since that CPU has more than enough power for my purposes.
What motherboard would you recommend for this CPU? I don't want to do anything fancy like crossfire, since this PC IS NOT for gaming. Ideally, I would like a mobo that costs under $90 and functions reliably. I don't want something that has a high DOA rate.
I will be using SATA 3.0gb/s hard drives that run at 7200rpm.
What type ram would you recommend? Is it possible for certain types of ram not to work with a mobo (even if the mobo accepts ddr2 800 and the mobo has ddr2 800 slots)? I don't want any expensive ddr3 ram. I would like to stick with ddr2 since it is cheap and readily available.
How about the other parts? I already have a really old ATX case from a Gateway PC that broke down. Would I be able to reuse that? Or would I have to buy a new case?
I already have a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and speakers.
The power supply from my old computer is an Astec (Model ATX250-3505). Would I be able to reuse that for this build? Or would I need something stronger? I would really appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.
