So I recently purchased a $300 gaming PC(purchased off of ebay). These are the specs -
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3470 CPU @ 3.20GHz
Number of Cores - 4
RAM - 8GB
GPU - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit - Version 2004
BIOS - LENOVO BIOS Rev: F1KT44A 0.0
240GB SSD
I am trying to get the most FPS I possibly can. I mainly play fortnite and call of duty warzone. I came across overclocking but I am not really sure how to go about setting the memory clock to the right number. I know that I already downloaded Heaven Benchmark program, but what do I do from there?
Am I just supposed to run through the 26 scenes it provides and then keep going in increments of 50's until it crashes and the number before it crashes is the one I should keep it at?
Is there more to overclocking? I am just unsure trying to get some extra help here, thank you!
