a 750ti would be nice, 8Gb (4Gb minimum) of memory, and these are the CPU's you can chose from: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/K9N6PGM2V2#support-cpu

A 120/250GB SSD would make the world of difference, it'll only run at Sata II speeds, but it'll feel so much more responsive than a HDD.

BUT it'll still be old, and you're still spending money on items that have minimal reuse value in another build. If you accept that as a concern then that's OK.

how about a rx 470 instead? cause the prices of this gpu is close to a 750ti where im living.

and ya i dont really care cuz my family wont be doing intensive gaming/editing on it anyways

IF everything seems alright then this should be the finish product

processor : Amd phenom II x4 955 (95 tdp)
gpu : gtx 750 ti or rx 470
ram : 2x4gb ddr2 800mhz
psu : evga 500w white(non modular) is this alright?
storage : 120gb ssd (os) and 500gb hdd

Oh and one last thing, can any type of gpu fit the pcie slot? Its pcie 1.0

It's overkill for what you've said you need it for, and is likely to be held back by the CPU. It's a bit better than a GTX 780 which was a monster only a few years ago, claims to be 120W. But if it's cheap enough go for it, just check the power requirements.

An odd thing about PC power usage is that it has generally been going down, so older CPU's may well require a lot more power than more modern ones, so don't think old and slow = low electrical power when it comes to PSU sizing. I wouldn't be 100% happy with that PSU.
