Another thing, Will I need to add more fans to the case myself (corsair 500R) or will the 4 that the case comes be enough for nice and low temperatures( i don't mean 10oC or anything that low, I'm thinking about something around 60oC at load)? Just to remind ye, before ye say to add some, i live in Ireland where the temperatures don't get too high, we are lucky if we get nice weather in the summer. 😛 it's usually about 15oC outside or around that(sometimes gets warmer but for a few days and it drops again). And in winter it is about 5oC and sometimes it can even snow (if we are lucky).

I'm hoping you can help me out, i don't want having to get another delivery just to get fans.

Thanks.

Why are the prices so low compared to the corsair PSU's? not only that PSU but others I looked at (even with 80 plus gold) had their price lower by like £10 - £20?

The fans that are built into the case will keep it plenty cool, especially if you keep the case on the high fan setting. It is one of the best cases for stock air flow.

Corsair jacks up their prices which is a bit funny seeing how Corsair doesn't manufacture any psu's. Seasonic and CWT manufacture the psu's for Corsair and Corsair sticks it's name on them. Same with XFX.... Seasonic manufactures all the XFX psu's but XFX cuts Corsair price. They do the same in the states. If Corsair marks up their psu for $150, XFX will sell the same identical psu for $130.

Also if you don't want to mess with SLI...most people never get that second card for the fact something new and better comes along by the time they think of buying a second card, then look at this board down below.

Why is the board going down in price so much again? What features will be lost there? Do you know any good PSU's for not more than the one I posted (i think it was £110)? I'd love if the PSU was modular and was 80 plus. Will it make a huge difference if it is 80 plus gold or silver or bronze? Also, please don't pull out some unknown company that makes them. 😛

Thanks.

thanks! I am happy to hear that i won't need to spend a load more on the fans. :)

Thank you! :)

That last board I posted was a single card board hence the explanation about most people not ever getting that second card like they planned.

Look for these brands when purchasing a psu. Seasonic, Antec, Silverstone, XFX, Enermax upper tier line, and the Corsair TX/HX/AX line of psu's.

Thanks! Will i be able to use the USB 3.0 Ports that i will have at the front of the case if i get the asrock pro4 motherboard? And can you tell me how many USB 2.0 ports and 3.0 ports i will have on it? It is starting to confuse me a bit. 🙁

Other than the limit of 1 graphics card, will i lose anything else?

Will i be able to have wireless internet on the computer if i get that board (it's not a must have, but it would be nice to have it wireless).

Is the audio good on the card? i'd like to use my headset ( http://www.creative.com/soundblaster/tactic3d/sigma/ ) if it is possible. :)

I'll go looking for a PSU now, and let you know what i find. Will the 80 plus bronze/silver/gold make a big difference?

THANKS!

You don't need a separate audio card, MOBO now a days have good sound. The only time you would need a separate card is you have hundreds and hundreds invested in speakers already. That board should also have the 3.0 USB.

For the PSU the bronze/silver/gold is the the efficiency rating, doesn't make that big a deal. I wouldn't bother with modular either, especially with a case such as the 500r with great cable management.

if you are to get a sound card, dont get creative. they suck. a good one is the asus d series. they can outperform the creative stuff for a cheap price. the mobo sound is ok for me, but i do like a extra sound card like the asus d series. they start at around 30 bucks to 80 bucks.

OK,thanks. i won't bother with the sound card. i just wanted to use the headset. For some reason it doesn't work with this ancient computer. 🙁

Will non-modular PSU's have too many wires and they would just hang there taking up space and collecting more dust and making the air flow worse?

Can ye suggest me a PSU to get because i seem to end up with the same ones all the time.
■i don't mind if it is modular or non modular as long as it won't leave too many cables just hanging there so it doesn't result in too much dust and all that.
■Also it HAS to be at least 80 plus PSU. And please try not too go too crazy with the cash spent on it. :) maybe up to £110, but that will probably be more than enough cash needed for it.
■and please post up a PSU from a known company (not exactly famous but a known company) which has good reputation(+ warranty :) ).
■ i will most likely only add an extra HDD or an SSD in the future and nothing more (just to give ye a rough idea on how much W i will need from it).

i think that 650W will be more than enough?

THANK YOU! I really appreciate the help :)

-For a headset the built in sound good will be fine.

-If you have extra cables you just tuck them behind the side panel of the case where you route all your wires. Out of the way and doesn't inhibit airflow.

-Here's a good 650W PSU I would suggest, good brand, quiet, 5 year warranty. Then an extra $20 rebate.

-650W will be plenty, could get away with a 550W, but I prefer to play it safe.

Thanks. Back to the first PSU I picked out before reading about the 80 plus and what else it meant and getting the Corsair AX650 gold. haha.
Will I be left with many unnecessary cables? Also, I am unsure about one thing, will it say where to plug in each cable? I had never experience with puting a computer together, only opening the store bought one i have now a few times to remove the dust on the fans.

Thanks. 😀

Ohh THANK YOU! 😀 I'll be able to turn it down and up! cool! 😀

■I am still waiting for a reply on the motherboard difference;
■I will look into the Optical Drive reviews to see if it's good;
■The Coolermaster hyper 212 is not in stock yet so I am going to wait for it to be back in before i make my order on anything.

Once i get those things, i will be able to make my purchase! I can't wait! 😀 😀 😀

Thank you everyone who helped me so far. Also, just because i have those picked out, doesn't mean that i don't want anymore ideas from you, so keep posting please.

THANKS!

I don't really understand that. From what i can guess is:
■it has 2 back usb 3.0 ports,
■it has one header for usb 3.0 which supports upto 2 ubs ports
■it has good audio
■it has 1 PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot
■it has 1 x PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot
■it has 1 x PCI Express 2.0 x1 slot
■and all that adds upto a total of 3 PCI slots?

It is all starting to confuse me. haha. PCI slots are for the graphics cards? those long slots on the board?

Thanks for that, i found it myself but i didn't really understand so that's why i asked you.

That Asrock Pro 4 is similar to the Asrock extrem4 other than it's mean to run a single card.

For 3 more quid you can step up into a modular psu (less cables to mess with).

Thanks for the PSU, I'll look at it.

Another thing! after i posted the build i had above, the HDD got taken down because "a costumer didn't get what he ordered" and they took it down for a while. it can take a few hours, or a few weeks for them to put it up. Any other suggestion on HDD if that one doesn't come up!?! I'd prefer a Western Digital or Seagate, and for it to be similar to the one i had ( 7200rpm, 64/32mb cache etc.).

Sorry about that, thanks!

do you know what the warranty is on this HDD?
