Need help with installing Linux!

I have just put together my build and am entering BIOS screen. I have a Disk to install it so what do I do next? I do not have any other OS either.

aaah, there are numerous versions of Linux. You should really to read the install instructions on the version of Linux's website.

ubuntu, i did and it comes up with lots of weird coding and stops after a line of coding about casper
