I just built my new pc 2 days ago. My r5 2600x sits at 4ghz when web browsing. I have the stock cooler on it right now and it ramps up every time the temperature spikes, but my problem is the temperature spikes every 10 seconds or so and then drops back down to ~65C with 2 chrome tabs and ryzen master open.
With nothing on the computer open at all, sitting idle on desktop, it sits around 48C. Also, i've done some research on the temperatures for this processor, and it seems like my CPU is idling quite high, but when gaming it barely ever reaches 70C.
So basically, I want to know how to bring core speeds down from 4ghz either in bios or in ryzen master, so my temperatures aren't spiking so much when i'm just trying to watch youtube.
