need help

hey, im about to build a new pc. i already have some of my stuff just sitting in my room, including a wd 80bg 8mb cache....ata 100. i want to get a msi K8T NEO-FSR, but will the hdd work in that board...as you can tell ive never built a pc, so any help will be appreciated.
