Need Opinion on New PC

Hello,
I've been an avid gamer for years but I've recently decided to nut up and buy a good gaming PC (also I’m going to want to do some minor video editing with adobe). I have a friend I asked about helping me choose what to get; unfortunately he is currently out of country and for the most part out of communication. So far I've built an Alienware aurora that I'm pretty happy about it but I feel because I'm buying from a large company I'm being over charged (also alienware has a bit of a bad history for this). If anyone can tell me if my specs are any good for the price, or even better if some one could suggest a website or sort of make the specs on a build your own site like Blackpearl. Also if I end up getting some other computer is there anyway I could keep the ALX chassis? (I'm sort of in love with it!) So far I've bought a mouse, keyboard, and monitor so all I'm really looking for is a tower. And as far as budget goes I'm pretty comfortable spending around 2,800 as my current build is going to cost about $2,808. So if you guys can offer any help it would be gratefully appreciated!

In terms of gaming only that CPU is massive overkill and no better than one a 1/3rd of the price though it may speed up the video editing. For gaming the CPUs to get are either the i5 2500K or 3570K. Also for the money it only has a mid range graphics card the one to get now on a high end system is a GTX670.

The 2nd graphics card is pointless if you want 2 get 2 the same for SLi (or crossfire if its AMD) as the second low end card will not add performance in any way. I still suggest the i5s I mentioned before as they are as good for gaming as any CPU you can buy and cost alot less. The power supply is more than you need, I tend to stick to Corsair or Antec but check reviews on whichever you get, you could stay with 750W incase you want to upgrade your card in future. The Thermaltake frio is a good CPU cooler but it is loud so be aware of this and change if you want it quiet.

Sorry just noticed the Frio is a new version I have not seen and according to reviews is quieter as long as you only have the fans on medium.

Is two low end cards better then 1 high end card? (like i said I'm a PC noob)

It can be but there are downsides like power consumption and you can get micro stutter which is where though you have high FPS the frames are not at even spaces so it looks worse than lower FPS. If your a noob I suggest you avoid it or read into it alot. Unless you are using more than 1 monitor then the single 670 is more than enough and you could consider adding a second in a years time when they are cheaper and games are more demanding.
