Aite. I got Vice City for PC the day it came out in the U.S., it kicks so much ass! Better graphics, better draw distance, and mouse support.

Anyway, there's the option of having ur own custom radio chanel w/ mp3s you imported. So what songs should I be cruisin to? I'm thikin Snoop Dogg west coast gangsta beats, some 50cent, The Offspring, Beastie Boys, maybe some hard rock, i need help deciding....

What about performance? How well it's gonna run with Duron 1 GHz (PC1600 CL2.0 DDR) and Radeon 9000 (non-Pro)? Is it buggy like GTA3?

I've managed to bet GTA Vice City. Played very little, but the game smells very good. <A HREF="http://www.actiontrip.com/reviews/grandtheftautovicecity.phtml" target="_new"> Actiontrip gave it 93% marks</A>

I get 25 to 50 fps in my rig. (Duron 1 GHz, nForce 420-D, PC1600 CL2.0 DDR, 64 MB Radeon 9000 non-Pro, 1024×768×32b, no AA, no AF)

Its wayy better than GTA3 which was more bugs than codes. Hell I had trouble running it at even 800*600 16. I'll get Vice city soon. I'm a die hard GTA fan

hmmm, Vice City still has some minor performance problems. I get it running DECENT at 800X600X16. Even on that resolution, it looks better than the PS2 version.

I use an Athlon XP 1900 w/ a Geforce 3 Ti500, 512 megs DDR.
Anything less than a GF3 will have problems running the game, only playable at 640x480, I'd assume. Damn shame.

how does one run with a 1GHz duron + radeon9000, spitfire says it's good with that?

And last i checked there's a 600MHz + a slightly better vid card (i think, correct me if i'm wrong) in your rig, but it doesn't perform well =(....

What dets are you using?

Just asking cause i have practically the same machine, an xp1900, gf3 ti500 (260/583) and GTA 3 and decsent for me (but with certain dets, it was horrible); and i don't wanna be disappointed =\
