Question Need to locate external temp sensors AUXTIN0 - AUXTIN3

I understand from reading other form posts that the AUXTIN0, AUXTIN1, AUXTIN2, AUXTIN3 are external temperature sensors.

On my Ubuntu machine, these are listed by psensor and xsensor temperature monitors.

Psensor list the details for each as:
Type: Temperature
Chip: nct6796
Id: lmsensor nct6796-isa-0290 AUXTIN#
* where # is 0, 1, 2 or 3

These sensors readouts are showing the hottest on my machine and I'd like to know where they are reading from.

Typical readings are:
AUXTIN0: 45 C
AUXTIN1: 45 C
AUXTIN2: 69 C
AUXTIN3: 58 C

What is the easiest way to locate these sensors on the motherboard? - Thanks!

What is the motherboard you are using? Often these refer to temp sensors on the board unless you have another fan or temp controller it is reading from?

The manual shows one external thermal connector on page I-27.

I have to reconfigure the drives on the machine this weekend and can look then for any additional external temperature sensors on the mother board.
