Hi,

I did a fresh install of Windows 11 on my desktop PC and have setup some shared folders and a plex library the same way I did on W10 which worked great.

However, it doesn't work on W11 until I manually deactivate my ethernet connection and re-enable it in the control panel. Then my devices (iPad, PS5) can detect all my shared folders.

This happens every time I reboot. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

Nothing has stood out in terms of ethernet sleep mode and the media sharing is set to automatic in services.

Any help appreciated

How do you shutdown the Windows 11 desktop PC?

Normal Power icon - correct?

Next time you boot and see that the sharing is not working take a look in Reliability History for error codes, warnings, and informational events.

See what happened when sharing did not work.

Then go though the deactivation and control panel re-enablement as you always do.

If successful, again look in Reliability History for differences between the original, unsuccessful sharing and the successful sharing thereafter.

Not need to rush through it all. It make take a bit of time and effort to get the process down and be able to discover what may be happening.
