What you got - 15 C drop - is LARGE! Normally IF the old cooler is doing all it should, you would get VERY LITTLE temperature change. Why? Because the cooling system is managed automatically to keep the TEMPERATURE inside the CPU chip (measured by a sensor in the chip) at a pre-set target. The cooling fan speed is altered to whatever it takes to keep it at that temp. So normally a new and better cooling system will run SLOWER that the old one to keep temps where they should be. The difference is that the new one WILL be able to speed up and handle even higher workloads when needed, whereas the older one might never keep up with high workloads.

However, IF your old cooler system really was NOT adequate to cool properly, then the new one IS cooling properly and it's a good thing you have made the upgrade!

if you've dropped 15C at idle that's a HUGE improvement, be pleased with yourself. As with all things, it depends on how cheap the cheap cooler is, and which one it was, some of the cheap ones are very good, but from those numbers it looks like your's wasn't

as far as I know that's not such a bad cooler, but I'm no expert (everything I know about coolers I've learned in the last few weeks), but you've switched to an AIO so cooler performance is no longer dependant on case air flow, and your thermal paste might not have been new

15 degrees is still a grand improvement for that upgrade

The only thing that i noticed is some cooler did not tell the maximum tdp of processor that it can handle so it bit confusing.my deep cool is 250 w tdp .last time i decide to get ls720 360 which is 300 tdp but i cannot find it online store offline store did not sell it.

Some cooler manufacturers just don’t give tdp’s, not sure why, it’s just a fact

(edit because I said 'tip' instead of 'tdp' because phone auto-correct)

There's no universal standard for how the cooler manufacturers, Intel, AMD, and Nvidia calculate it, so it's not a reliable metric.
Cooler manufacturers(most) have omitted the rating to reduce confusion.
