New Boot Drive

So I’m currently switching from an Intel cpu to a AMD one and I’m wondering can I use my current bootdrive or would I have to reinstall with a flash drive that I have my (Win-10) on. Seems like a dumb question but I’m just trying to make sure .

When changing platforms , it's best to backup if needed and perform a clean install.

For that level change, a full wipe and reinstall is strongly recommended, usually required.

Make sure you have your license key tied to a Microsoft Account before you proceed with the install and activation.
