OK so I am building a budget PC that will run fairly well and perform at its best. My budget as of now is under $500. I have most of the components picked out and I have a few questions. I am going AMD for this build, but I have little to no experience with their line of processors. I'm assuming you're planning to go with AMD because they are generally cost-effective, but at this level an Intel system would be about the same price. For $5 more, you could get an E5200 and this P43 motherboard

This combination would surely outclass your current configuration before and after overclocking.

However, if you really are only watching movies and not doing things like editing videos or photos, I'd recommend this AMD CPU because it's cheaper and it runs at only 45 watts which is quite a bit less power hungry than the 7750x2's 95 watts
