I have just come up with a little bit of cash and decided I will make a new PC with a few old parts, so far I have gotten hold of 32gbs of memory for Free and a 3070 for a cheap price I have gone on Pcpartpicker and picked these parts for it, I am keeping my old power supply but it does say it might be an issue, missing a 8pin. please let me know your thoughts on this before i purchase and missed or could get something better

Is it worth getting 64GB RAM new? maybe try the 32 see if I need 64 later on?

The CPU I want to get is, but not sure if i should get a Ryzen and a different mobo? ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/Intel-i5-1...0BCF5CZ16/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 )
Will the S1700 work with a LGA1700 mobo?

What will be the primary uses of your PC?
Gaming and watching movies I think im gonna go with the https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/F8CvVF seems like a better option and prob in a few months time swap the 4 cards of ram to two cards

My budget for MOBO and CPU are around £360, with the Asus dual OC GeForce rtx 3070 8gb
I got a Asus ROG strig B450-F gaming atm but i know i cant do much OC with it, if i want to experiment
