This is what I got
Case is Fractal Design Focus G Mid-Tower Case

Motherboard is
Gigabyte B650M Gaming Plus wifi.
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X CPU
Memory: 32GB T-Force RGB DDR5
Cooler for CPU is Arctic Freezer 36
Graphics card : Geforce GTX 550 Ti (I plan to upgrade later).
Power Supply: Seasonic Model SSR-500GB

I got it all together. I hooked up CPU power, motherboard power connector, and the Geforce GTX 550Ti power connector, but no post. I'm not really using this for gaming so much, so I don't need the latest and greatest graphics card. The memory upgrade is good enough for me alone, coming from a computer that I had from 2011, this is a major upgrade.

When I turn it on, nothing happens. The memory sticks glow, and all the fans turn on. It seems they are moving too slowly. So I thought it was the power supply at first. So I tried 3 different power supplies. This first one I already listed. The second one is a Silencer 500 EPS12V. Both are 500 watts the silencer is older but has a lot more amps on the rails. Then I still thought it was the power supply.

So I went out and bought a RM850e corsair thinking the computer needed more watts; otherwise, it wouldn't post. All three had the same results. Very slow fans, no post. No beep noises, no anything.

So I decided to try even an older graphics card and got no results. I got this as a combo deal. So I don't want to let it go and return it just yet.

I'm getting the same results. Any ideas what's going on? No beep codes at all. Just no post. It's almost like it's so quiet it's not running. But it does turn on.

try the suggestions here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/t...rformance/windows-boot-issues-troubleshooting

Remove any GPU and just use the integrated video (yes, you have one) and see if any difference is made.

New AM5 systems can take a couple minutes to boot the first time as they configure themselves, by the way.

Okay, I gave this a try. Still I got no boot. And this time I waited a while. It just turned off and on back again. I'm stumped. Fans still run slow as possible.

Make sure that both the 8-pin and 24-pin power connectors are firmly attached to the motherboard. Double check your memory is formly seated in the slots (fully locked in) as well.

Alright, I did that and still nothing. I even changed the memory slots around, perhaps I should take one out and see what happens. Maybe it's shutting down because the fans are not running at full speed on the cpu. I'm thinking maybe it has something to do with the cpu. I should check the manual if it's supposed to beep. I'm not liking the cooler much on here because it's kind of big and although it doesn't touch the memory sticks. It comes close, but they are still firmly in there. My mind is leaning towards the cpu. I'm not sure if those fans are supposed to run a little faster.

I'm starting to regret not buying a prebuild now LOL. I don't see how you save money buying your own parts. When a normal graphics card comes to $300 nowadays. Yeah, they have nice bundle deals but not with graphics.

I have to check the manual if it's supposed to beep if a component is not working. Where are the error beep codes.

Test a bare minimum setup outside the case on a piece of cardboard. First start can take over 10 minutes!
Alright. I also took the cpu cooler off. I'm going to reapply some paste. Maybe it's over heating and maybe the thermal paste that I used is junk. I got a better quality brand corsair. Maybe it is over heating. It doesn't look like there is much on there or something happened. I did kind of hear a light squealing noise as well.

Wait a second, what do you mean first start can take 10 mins? To post? huh?

Reckon its a compatibility problem with the older gpu & the board. A 14 yr old card on a 2022 release chipset board.... not going to happen I say.
Is it possible that when I used that older gpu it went for external rather than internal? Now it wont even boot up my internal even though I got it hooked up through the HDMI port on the motherboard I/O ? Maybe something got screwed up. I did take the GPU out.

Update: Maybe I do have to wait 10 mins. At least it's not shutting off. Hmm, I never heard of this. It's been more than 30 mins and still nothing.

Okay I finally got it to boot. I waited 40 mins and shut off the computer and turned it on and it got posted.

Need some help. For some reason the bios is indicating no boot order or no bootable device found. I have a hard drive installed already. I'm kind of lost as the manual and videos on the internet all have different bios versions with unclear instructions.

Is it detecting the hard drive and not saying it's found or it's not bootable? Sorry I'm use to a really really older bios from 2011.

What I need to do next is install Windows 10 LTSC, I 'm assuming in this bios that it detects the hard drive already but doesn't do the standard of showing you the screen that it normally does and just stays in bios.

I looked at a lot of different video tutorials but they are not showing me the different bios versions that do show boot order priorities. Mine does not have that or am I missing something?

So I'm assuming once I get a usb drive with a bootable windows 10 LTSC on a usb. Then I plug that in, it will detect the usb and let me select and boot from there. The manual is indicating to run a disc drive. I don't have that installed. Is this bios suppose to show me the bootable hard drives at least where I'm circling it?

I don't see a boot priority option in this bios? I looked around forever. Is it suppose to show here where I circled?

Hi, I'm having the same issue, after those 40 minutes was it still black? No Post? You just randomly turned it off and back on?

It's because your storage is is MBR format which is old. You should get a PE Udisk and re-format your hardrive into GPT partitions. Then install the operating system using the tool included in PE and the OS image copied into the Udisk by yourself.

Yes, it was still black. So I decided to turn it off. And once I turned it on again, then it finally POST. I was assuming it was going to run for 10 mins and then post itself by itself. But I had to turn it off and on.

I have not done in-depth research, but a little. But apparently it's memory training. Some people said it took 10 mins and then some said it took 30 mins. This was that bundle deal people got on black friday (also comes with free hard drive). So I'm assuming now there are a bunch of people with this problem. Not surprising. And I think there were a few people who said it was because of incompatible memory.

I did get few error messages when it finally posted.

This was the message

New CPU installed, fTPM/PSP NV Corrupted or fTPM/PSP NV structure changed

Press Y to reset fTPM. IF you have Bitlocker or encryption enabled. The system will not booot without a recovery key.

Press N to keep previous FTPM record and continue system boot.

I choose yes.

The next error is this Boot failure detected
Load optimized defaults then boot
Load optimized defaults then reboot

I choose 2nd option.

It didn't repeat the error. And now POST normally.

Wait now I'm confused? I don't have to take the hard drive out to do this right? PE Udisk? That's the samething as USB, I just looked it up, right?

Yes, you don't have to take it out. You should get a usb storage device with PE system installed in it. Udisk is a idiom in my region, sorry.
Okay, I'll look that up to see how to do that. I was confused because when I looked it up, it said it was a magnetic hard drive with platters in it.

I found a guide on how to do this. It doesn't look too hard. I just got to partition the usb drive and use this software "Windows Deployment and Imaging Tools Environment" Then make it bootable. And the bios should recognize it. It starts up. Then I I have a copy of Windows 10 in iso format on the usb drive I'm assuming.

Might want to look into a decent power supply. That one is very poor quality. It's not even manufactured by Seasonic.
Yeah, now I'm giving that a second thought. I relooked at the amazon reviews, It's still had about a 78% rating. Really, it's not manufactured by Seasonic, it says it is? Is it a rip-off or a scam? The only problem is I can't return the seasonic SSR-500GB, I bought it 1 year ago. Maybe I can RMA it. Maybe some of those amazon positive reviews are fake.

So is this really a scam power supply that was recalled?

No. Not a scam device. Not what he meant. Not all branded PSUs are actually made by the brand.

Right sounds like they outsourced it, but still made by the same brand. I will of course wait to see if I can get a good deal on a graphics + power supply and see how internal graphics works. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something that was going to toast my motherboard. Only thing I found out was people didn't like they didn't use Japanese caps. I have 3 power supplies, and I was debating which one I was going to use.

Budget power supply ='s lower quality caps.

Consider the PSU as the "heart" of your system. Never cheap out on the heart. It is what keeps you system alive.
I won't. I was just fooled into it because it was seasonic. I can't remember (it was a year ago I think), maybe it was a black friday deal when I got it, and I thought that was the reason for the lower price. Thanks for your help about that memory training thing. I had no clue. No mention of it in the motherboard manual or even on the AMD instructions. Heck, I even watched several youtube videos about first time builds, beginners guides on youtube. I guess they just assume you will automatically know.
