Hey Everyone,
It's been forever and a day since I've built a new pc. I just started getting the Blue Screen treatment from my old desktop so I figured instead of wasting anymore time and money on my old one I'd just break down and build a new gaming pc. I just wanted some opinions on the parts I've picked and some suggestions on if I should change anything.
Intel Core i7-3820 Sandy Bridge-E 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 2011 130W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
GIGABYTE G1.ASSASSIN2 LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard
CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 Desktop Memory
CORSAIR H100 (CWCH100) Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
CORSAIR Professional Series HX1050 1050W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS SILVER Certified Semi Modular Power Supply
OCZ Vertex 4 VTX4-25SAT3-256G 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
As far as a video card goes, I have a EVGA GTX 280 in my old pc that I'll use until the release the 690 dual chip card.
I appreciate any feedback. Thanks again.
Ken
