New gpu

Hey, I plan to build a new pc and my first option is to buy the gpu 1st.

My specs right now: I7-4770S, gtx 970, 8 gb ram ddr3

I would build a 2080 super,removing the old 970 but staying also with the old cpu. Will I have any problems?
Planning to play 1440p 144hz

You will definitely get some bottlenecking, Although as you're at 1440p shouldn't be terrible. Won't have any major problems.

You may have some CPU limitations, however, for 1440p your gpu will be stressed as well.

I would also consider upgrading to 16gb ram.

If I could upgrade to ryzen 5 3600 + ddr4 16 gb of ram and new mobo, would it be worth. And would it be enough the 3600 for the 2080 S?

3600 is enough in most cases for a 2080 at 1440p.

It would definitely be worth the upgrade.
