I was planning on upgrading my PC completely and I was thinking of getting the following components for the same,
I am here to get second opinions as I dont wanna rush into stuff and regret in the future

Processor : AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Desktop Processor 8 Cores up to 4.3GHz 20MB Cache

Mobo : GIGABYTE B450 AORUS Elite
or
ASRock B450 Steel Legend Socket AM4

GPU : ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 1080 8 GB GDDR5X Graphics Card

I think the current parts are irrelevant as I'm upgrading almost everything.

I plan on streaming in the future and I'm on a budget which is fully utilised if I buy the mentioned components.

It is 3 years old, and the budget is around 450$ for Mobo & processor, I already have the gpu

Which Antec model. All 650W are not created equal unfortunately. The quality if the PSU is far more important than how much power it purports to output.

I have ordered the same stuff you mentioned, the processor arrived today and im waiting for the rest of the stuff to arrive
Excited to play on this beast!!

EDIT : I couldnt find 2x 8 gb RAM for similar price, can I go for 1 x 16 GB ram?

Single channel RAM will reduce performance. Dual Channel is much better, especially fast dual channel RAM with Ryzen chips.

Depends on the games you play. But in some cases it can be quite significant.
