New case front panel connectors different then motherboard (HP)

Hi!
I just bought new case for my HP 280 G2
After connecting everything except front panel
When I came across the front panel connectors , it was very different then the ones I had on the OEM case
I tried connecting them on different places on mobo and it didn’t start up
Then I had the idea of bringing my other case near the new case and attach the power on cable to the motherboard on the new case and turn on my pc using the power switch on the oem case and it turned on successfully
Any idea what should I do to make those connectors works?
I believe hp is using propriety front panel cables on the original case and the motherboard
Is there anything I can do or just give up?

I managed to change power supply , add GTX 1060 and upgrade ram with no issues
I don’t understand why I can’t change the case?

The connectors on your new case are standard. The ones on your HP case are really hard to see because your photos are so bad. If the photos were as good as the ones of the new case, it would be easier to say. However it appears that they have taken all the front panel cables and combined them into one large plug that fits over the whole front panel connector pin block. Your new case only has power switch and power LED connectors, so those will plug into the appropriate pairs of pins on the F_PANEL connector block on the motherboard. The blue cable on your new case is a USB 3.0 cable, but your motherboard doesn't have USB 3, so you use the black USB 2 connector that's hanging off the side of the blue connector to connect to either F_USB1...

Hey! i plugged the Power_SW into the lower left pin on F Panel port and it worked
problem solved , thanks for your input

I am having the exact same problem with my HP pavilion elite 9080n. Even though it’s from 2008, the hardware specs rivaled that of a Mac Pro from the time, however the tower was extremely tiny, with no room, and only one fan aside from the actual fan on the CPU itself. I had to leave the tower open with another fan blowing on it all the time in order to prevent it from shutting down and overheating. Totally ridiculous design, but good hardware. Bios are ridiculously limited and completely prevent any sort of change of parameters that would be simple with a computer that I had built myself. I’m not comfortable with patching bios or hacking or modifying them myself, but I am quite comfortable with cross flashing as long as I know that it’s compatible with the machine. I’ve done it successfully before many times. I know it should be able to allow me to increase the speed of the ram bus as well as unlock the CPU to make it run at its maximum potential. I forget if it is a Core2 quad or a quad core Xeon, but I believe the speed was about 2.7 GHz. I was able to install OS X as a complete vanilla install, No patching necessary other than installing a boot loader after the fax since I do not believe this computer has EFI capabilities. Everything was working fine except I cannot get it to power on completely because the jumper configuration on the new tower is completely different from the HP tower. I don’t know if anyone can help me, as I no longer have the original tower. It’s quite frustrating to know that a machine that is capable of running any operating system at all quite well, is sitting in a closet completely unused. If anybody has any suggestions, I am totally open to them. And if anyone knows where I could possibly find custom bios that I could easily cross flash it with, I would be extremely grateful. I don’t want to go so far as to modify or patch the stock bios. But I know from building computers in the past that the CPU can be easily soft overclocked and simply unlocked to run that it’s maximum speed, as well as the likelihood of the ram bus speed being increased. If it’s possible to upgrade the CPU, I might just do that, as well as put in SSDs. And then I’ll probably sell it on eBay. I’m at the point where it’s either getting fixed very soon, sold and put towards a newer machine, or going straight to the recycling center!!!
