New Computer Build

I just put together a new build. This is my third in 6 years. I turn it on and it powers up then dies after two seconds and then powers up.....repeating until I kill the power. Any ideas on what may be wrong?

May be a defective powersupply unit or RAM...If u have more than 1 RAM units then try inserting 1 RAM at a time and in different RAM slots...

I moved the RAM around to the appropriate slots trying different combos of the three, still no luck. Everything starts to power up but then after about 2 seconds it just shuts off. No beeping, nothing. Then it tries to restart over and over again. I have EX58-Extreme Gigabyte MoBo, 3 sticks of Corsair dominator 240-pin ddr3 sdram 1600, and corsair cmpsu 1000w ATX 12 V 2.2 if that helps at all.

Have u tried changing the BIOS settings??? overclockin or any thing..then try to start the comp wit default BIOS settings....

Do you have a spare power supply you can hook up to it and see if it works???

It might even be a bad CPU???
