I just assembled a intel 12700k pc and everything seems to be working properly as I'm able to boot up into my uefi bios on my asus mobo. In the bios I can see my connected nvme drive, sdd drive and my usb stick. In the boot menu I set it to my usb stick which has windows 10 install media. However, when I set the install media as primary boot device and restart my computer, nothing happens. I just see a black screen. What might be some reasons why the install media isn't showing up at all? What should I start for troubleshooting? I've booted with this windows media tool before but It's been a year or 2

You should disconnect all drives except for the drive you wish to install the OS onto.

Recreate your bootable USB installer and then proceed to install the OS.

include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
