New CPU info

Simple question... im slightly upgrading from an AMD Phenom II X4 820 to a AMD Phenom II X4 940 BLACK EDITION ...I have a stock violet 6 hp motherboard and was wondering if I had to reinstall windows 7 when I make the switch

No, you won't have to do a reinstall. It just sucks that you won't be able to OC much with that mobo.

Yeah the mobo is *** but the cpu was brand new for $50 so the mkny saved is gking for a gigabyte mobo... mind if you have any suggestions
