[SOLVED] New Gaming pc build

Hi guys. Was hoping someone could help me put together a decent gaming pc. I'm looking at the Ryzen 3600 but stuck on the GPU.
I will more than likely be buying from a website www.wootware.co.za
My budget will be R22k excluding monitors and peripherals. I also already have 2tb hard drive for storage so looking at the m2 nvme cards for OS.
Pc will be mainly for gaming but video editing and some rendering too.

I have a 1080p 144Hz monitor. I am however looking to upgrade to 1440p sooner rather than later

You can get a lot done with that kind of budget then.
Obviously I don't know whether all of these parts will be available for similar prices on wootware, but just to give you an idea.

Yeah unfortunately pricing is very different here. 20k for the gpu and 970 m2 drive.

The build I have come up with so far is the b450 tomahawk, 3600 ryzen, 16gb g skill 3200 ram and gpu is a toss up between 5700xt or 2070 super

Well it looks like the rx 5700xt would be much better price to performance, as long as you are willing to deal with possible driver/cooling issues.

Good. Those should be coming out early this month from what I've heard
As for driver issues, AMD will hopefully fix them sometime in the near future, but keep in mind "reverse survivor bias" in reviews. People who have a bad time with drivers are less likely to review the product than people who have had a normal experience

For higher end games, it can probably do 40-60 fps at 1440p medium or high settings

Ok awesome thanks. And one last thing, there is a sale on the palit 2080 super jetstream that I could fit in to budget. Not to sure on the brand though. Strange for it to be so cheap.

I have never heard of that brand before so I don't recommend buying the card
