New graphics card? :D

Hello, So for Christmas i'm going to be picking up a new video card. I was hoping i could get some suggestions of a card that is around 100-170$. Any ideas? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. I have some cards in mind but was wondering what the best bang for my buck is . I play games such as bf3, crysis2, borderlands 2, Mech warrior online, etc.

should boost your budget and get a Radeon 7870

You could go with the 7850 there are a couple right at the top of your price range and it's quite a bit better than the 7770.

I looked at the 7850 my biggest worry is i have a very very low cooling case for my build. There is vents on the side panel for the gpu to get from but no intake fans what so ever. That's why i was looking at lower powerd cards. If you think id still be ok with something like this then i would go ahead and get it. The vebt is about 5inches wide and 3 inches tall. There is another vent on the panel about 3 inches away thats the same size. I know cooling is a big factor in bigger cards so this is why im looking at these cards.
i was looking at this 7850 since it's directly blowing the hot air out the back and not the side etc.

Don't use HWCompare. It's inaccurate at the very least, and even totally off sometimes.

As for HD 7850: it uses no more power than HD 7770, and it certainly isn't any hotter.

Both about the same size and both are dual fans so they should keep nice and cool ;D

As well im getting this psu i know the 7850 requires 500 watt+ psu and i had my eye set on this psu here

HD 7850 doesn't require 500 watt unit. Having said that, I would advice against going with cooler master unit. I'd stick with quality brands: Corsair, Antec, Seasonic, XFX.
