I bought a Gigabyte Aorus Extreme 1060 6GB 9GBPS Edition today. Installed it and the driver. But I see the error code 43 in device manager saying the device reported problem and cant run nvidia control panel (nothing happens when i click). But the driver does get installed. So, far Ive tried updating the BIOS, reinstalling the driver; removing previous intel driver using DDU, clearing cmos and static charge. But no luck. Pc runs fine with mobo intel graphics. I fresh installed win 10 with updates and still same problem. But with this gpu; during boot and mobo logo; the logo is a bit distorted and there r flickering blue lines which r present in windows too. I guess thats a hardware problem ? What can I do ? RMA wont be easy. They had this single one of this card and the shop is far away.. What can I do ?

Hello,

From what you tell us about the blue lines you have a serious problem in the GPU. It is a hardware problem, that is, the GPU came defective or a chip was damaged shortly after using it. I think the best thing is that you claim the guarantee of said card because, according to the symptoms (blue stripes, distorted logo, etc ...) it is due to the Hardware itself and not to the drivers of it. You will have to use the RMA or buy another new card.

Anyway, you can try to remove the GPU, start the computer without it, once loaded the WINDOWS, turn off the computer, reconnect the GPU, restart the computer and, if you're lucky, maybe even solution to. Sometimes the GPU can be in high (state 1) by anything (grounding, the fingers have touched some sensitive circuit to the humidity, etc ...) and it is possible to be solved thus, of this so simple form. I say it from experience but I do not think that is your case but, to prove, that it is not.

Regards,
