currently run a E6400@3.2ghz. going to slowly work on a new build, my current motherboard is dying and I never cared for it much anyways.
I was thinking of picking up ram now along with the board. What speeds would be good for future upgrades, i was thinking of picking up a E8400 next and shooting for at least 4ghz, but the cpu upgrade might not be for a few months so I could want something completely different by then.
I've been leaning towards the asus P5Q pro. for ram maybe a ddr2 1066 or ddr3 1066/1333? P5Q advertises DDR1200 support, anyone tried it with ddr or anything beyond 1200?
just picked up a gts 250 so I should have that for quite a while. the oc'd E6400 will also hold me over for a while if needed.
