My PC is 7 years old and never had a MOBO, PSU, SSD,or RAM failure. It has performed admirably at every turn and I want to retire it while it is still functioning.
I had my current PC built and shipped to me by Cyberpower PC. I used Toms Hardware Forums to help me pick the parts with great success.
Now it is time for me to build my own PC. Hopefully one of the many Knowledgeable people here can help me confirm if this new build is solid or show me the error of my ways.

I am an RPG/FPS/RTS gamer and a 3d Art/Photography hobbyist. The philosophy behind this PC will be the same as my last one. A gaming PC build with a stronger processor and more RAM to help with game engine rendering and having multiple 3d art based programs open at once. Im not thinking about 4k too much right now but it will be an option later on.
An Nvidia GPU is a must for me due to RTX support and a larger feature set for certain video games/ engines.

Used PC part picker to avoid any common incompatibilities.

Your build looks OK. I'd use an NVMe drive for the OS. And you could use another one for games. - they cost about the same oprice as a 2.5in ssd but go faster.

I'd just get Windows 10 Home. Just download it and install it then buy a key for it for about $30 at eg Kinguin.

Check that the ram you want to use is on the motherboard memory QVL for your CPU.

Thanks Steve!

I did some research on the NVMe drive and will switch my 512GB 2.5in drive to the Samsung 970 Evo 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive. That will also save me about 40$.

I didnt know about the QVL. Thanks for the heads up. I verified it is on the list from the Gigabyte website.
