I am in the process of doing my first ever PC Build and I am running into an issue of getting the motherboard to turn on. There is not a single indication that it is turned on when I connect the power cables from the power supply to the motherboard, cpu, and gpu and jump the pwr_sw pins with a screw driver.
I tested the power supply to see if that is working by using the paper clip method and the fan spins for about 3-5 seconds and then it stops. I removed the graphics card and ram to see if that is the issue but i am still not getting it turn on.
Here is a video that I took describing the issue: https://youtu.be/u5fyuhuRucs

UPDATE: PROBLEM FIXED
It turns out the issue was with the way the CPU was inserted. The retention wasn't fully engaged so the CPU must have not had a proper connection to the board. I re-inserted the CPU and other components and the motherboard was able to POST to my monitor!
