Howdy, Team.

I’m looking to build a new PC due to Windows 10 EOL next year, my budget is around 2.5k+, I would like to start with getting a CPU and MB, I see that AMD is now the preferred choice for CPU's. What would you recommend for games and applications?

Where are you?

Preferred store to buy from?

Do you need ALL of these parts with that 2500? If not, which?

Monitor
Operating system
Case
Motherboard
CPU
RAM
Video card
Power supply
CPU cooler
Fans other than what's included with the case
Boot drive
Other drives

Preference for RGB? Air cooling?

There will be new cpu's and gpu's released by then. Best to start these threads no sooner than a week before you plan on purchasing.

I'm in CDN
I'll need
Case
Motherboard
CPU
RAM
Video card
Power supply
CPU cooler
HD Drives
Monitor (possible I have one now not sure if I should upgrade)

Canada Computers
Amazon
Newegg
are the stores I would purchase parts from.

Is there an advantage with RGB or is it more style? I don't plan on overclocking

If I were going to purchase today with that budget I'd do something like this. The 120mm fan goes inside the back of this case for an exhaust fan.
